Justice Together secured commitments from City of Wichita & Sedgwick County officials to:
1) create the Wichita ID program: a no-cost, low-barrier photo ID program to help our unhoused neighbors access services.
2) secure funding to make COMCARE’s Crisis Hotline accessible 24/7
3) commit $200k to expand KDAD’s program that provides peer support and transportation to support more than 300 people struggling with mental health & addiction.

1) put $10 million annually into the Wichita Affordable Housing Fund
2) create the Second Light Center, a community-driven initiative to provide comprehensive services for people in Wichita experiencing homelessness.
The City of Wichita implements the ID program agreed upon at the 2024 Nehemiah Action Assembly.
As of May 6, 2026: 3,089 Applications have been submitted & 2,253 Cards have been printed.

1) support Director Sally Stang’s (Housing and Community Services) plan to put $10 million annually into the Wichita Affordable Housing Fund
2) put Affordable Housing back on the ballot as a standalone sales tax vote in 2027
